Our story

BIOAPPLY FOUNDATION. LAUNCH OF THE BIODEGRADABLE BAG

The basic objective is to replace single-use plastic with a bio-sourced and biodegradable bag, 100% European.

2006

RANGE OF COMPOSTABLE BAGS

BioApply compostable bags enable a virtuous circle, from point of sale to compost. Do your shopping and then reuse the bag for efficient sorting of organic waste: a contribution of quality and quantity of biomass.

2008

RESPECT-CODE

Since 2012, almost all BioApply solutions have been traceable and transparent. To combat greenwashing, BioApply has partnered with Product DNA to make its supply chain 100% verified, with just one click.

2012

THE LITTLE GREEN BIN

At the request of the Canton of Geneva, BioApply is developing a small, ventilated, stylish kitchen bin that is compatible with compostable bags and kitchen storage systems.

2015

TREETOTE ®

The TreeTote® is a sustainable alternative to the cotton bag, or tote bag. While cotton is water-intensive and prone to pesticides, the TreeTote is made from PEFC-certified wood fiber sourced from Central Europe. It is certified compostable.

2017

BIOPAPER

BioPaper, launch of the first range of functional paper products treated with anti-humidity and anti-grease, 100% renewable, certified to adapt to composting and recycling sectors.

2018

TREETOTE ® RANGE

Using wood fiber, BioApply has launched the TreeTote® range to address the issue of organic cotton. A complete line, from fruit and vegetable nets to bulk bags, all 100% European plant-based and compostable.
