FAQ: custom printed paper bags

Which custom paper bag should I choose?

BioGrass: paper carrier bag made from grass paper and recycled kraft, strong enough for heavy shopping. Twisted, flat or cord handles.

PaperBag: grease-proof paper bag for the food trade, with an optional compostable window.

PaperLeaf: grease-proof wrapping paper for cheese, cured meats and meat, with an optional sealing film.

What are the paper bags made of?

BioGrass contains 25 to 30% grass and recycled kraft (virgin kraft for cord handles). Producing it takes far less water than wood pulp. PaperBag and PaperLeaf are made from 35 to 38 g/m² paper treated with vegetable oil: a natural barrier against grease and moisture, with no plastic.

Are they compostable and certified?

BioGrass is recyclable and compostable, with solvent-free inks and glue. PaperBag and PaperLeaf are PEFC and TÜV OK compost HOME certified.

How do I get paper bags custom printed?

Custom printing in up to 8 colours. For PaperBag and PaperLeaf: heavy-metal-free inks, a choice of 4 paper colours and a print area of up to 30% per side, in line with OK compost requirements.

What are the lead times?

The bags are made to order: send us your logo, size and quantity. Lead time after approval: 8 weeks for BioGrass, 7 weeks for PaperBag and PaperLeaf.

Are they traceable?

Yes. Every product is traceable from raw material to finished product via a QR code (Respect Code).
